EVS31 took place in Kobe, Japan from 30th September to 3rd October 2018. CharIN e.V participated in this year´s EVS, continuing a tradition that was started last year in Stuttgart with EVS30 and promoting the Combined Charg-ing System (CCS).
CharIN e.V. was joined by 10 of its members at the joint booth with participation from ABB, BMW, Daeyoung Chaevi, Rectifier Technologies, Infineon, TÜV Süd, Scienlab, Phoenix Contact, Star Charge, Huber + Suhner and Neusoft Reach. CharIN welcomed representatives from CHAdeMO, Nissan Motor, Suzuki, the Germany Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Japanese press as well as many other interested visitors at the booth.
In addition to the exhibition, CharIN e.V was a platinum sponsor for the EVS31 with Chairman Claas Bracklo giving the opening speech at the Gala Dinner on October 2nd joined by many top-level managers, engineers and political representatives from Asia, Europe and North America.
On October 3rd, Michael Keller, treasurer and member of the CharIN board gave a CharIN presentation in the session “AC & DC Charging” of the conference program that took place in parallel to the EVS 31 exhibition. Moreover, CharIN hold its annual General Assembly on October 1st in the afternoon followed by a booth party with all participating members and exhibitors afterwards.
Along with all the other exhibitors and visitors, CharIN is happy that Typhoon Trami passed peacefully the day before the EVS31. Though there were some Trami related limitations in long distance travel at the beginning, many interested people came to visit the show.
The next event EVS32 will take place from May 19th to May 22nd, 2019 in Lyon, France. CharIN is already preparing the next show with another huge joint booth for the association and its members. If you are interested to join, please contact us at evs(at)charinev.org
